Give A Monkey A Bazooka

I've always felt wired to build.

For the past five years, I've been chasing that instinct through entrepreneurship—mostly focused on finding real-world applications for blockchain technology. Like most people who go down this path, I started with more ambition than experience.

My first real attempt was a brand called BLOK.

BLOK was a skateboard and apparel company built around Algorand NFTs. The idea was to fuse physical products like shirts, hoodies, even skate decks with native digital artwork, and then use a third-party processor to handle payments over blockchain rails to make everything accessible.

It didn't take off.

But more importantly, it taught me everything that I didn't know but needed to learn (ie. e-commerce, branding, partnerships, marketing, and payment infrastructure). That flipped a switch. I stopped thinking about building and started doing it.

After that came more attempts. Different ideas, same result: limited traction. But each one compounded my skill set. I got sharper, faster, and more capable.

The ideas never stopped. The bottleneck was always execution.

Until now.

The combination of code-focused LLMs and smart contract tooling has completely changed what's possible for a solo builder. Things that used to require a team or months of effort can now be prototyped, tested, and shipped at a completely different speed.

That shift is the reason Bazooka Labs exists.

Bazooka Labs is my sandbox for building and shipping experimental web apps powered by LLMs and Algorand smart contracts. It's an umbrella for ideas that I can now actually bring to life instead of letting them sit idle.

Some of these projects will be useful. Some will be experimental. Some might fail quickly. That's the point.

The goal is simple: build, learn, push the limits of what these tools can actually do in real products, and try to deliver an impact within the Algorand ecosystem.

I'm not a traditionally trained computer engineer by any means, but now I have access to tools that dramatically amplify what I can build. A monkey that's handed a bazooka. That's what this moment feels like. Not in a reckless sense, but in terms of raw leverage.

Bazooka Labs is the result of that shift.

There are already several projects in progress, being built in parallel. As they get closer to release, I'll be sharing them along with what works, what doesn't, and everything in between.

If you're interested in where the marriage of LLMs and smart contracts are headed, follow along.

This is just getting started.
